Winchester (2018) is a supernatural horror film inspired by the true story of Sarah Winchester, the widow of the inventor of the rifle. After the deaths of her husband and child, Sarah moves to California and begins building an elaborate mansion, believing it is haunted by the spirits of those killed by her husband’s invention. The film explores themes of grief, guilt, and the paranormal as Sarah tries to appease restless spirits with her endless construction.
