“The Tiger’s Apprentice” (2024) is an animated fantasy film that follows Tom Lee, a Chinese-American boy who, after his grandmother’s death, becomes the apprentice to a talking tiger named Mr. Hu. Under Mr. Hu’s guidance, Tom learns ancient magic to protect a mystical phoenix. The film features a star-studded voice cast, including Henry Golding as Mr. Hu, Brandon Soo Hoo as Tom, Lucy Liu as Nu Kua, Sandra Oh as Mistral, and Michelle Yeoh as Penny Loo.
