The Circle (2017)
The Circle (2017) is a tech thriller starring Emma Watson and Tom Hanks. It follows Mae Holland (Watson), a young woman who lands a job at a cutting-edge tech company called The Circle. As Mae quickly rises through the ranks, she becomes entangled in the company’s obsession with surveillance and transparency. The Circle’s CEO, Eamon Bailey (Hanks), promotes a utopian vision where privacy is eliminated for the greater good.
