King Kong (1976)
In the 1976 remake of King Kong, an oil company discovers a mysterious island in the South Pacific while searching for drilling sites. They send a team, including filmmaker Jack Prescott and actress Dwan, to explore the area. There, they encounter a giant ape, King Kong, who is captured and brought to New York City for exhibition.
