Insomnia (2002)
Insomnia (2002), directed by Christopher Nolan, follows two Los Angeles detectives, Will Dormer (Al Pacino) and Hap Eckhart (Martin Donovan), sent to investigate the murder of a teenage girl in a small Alaskan town. In the perpetual daylight of the region, Dormer struggles with insomnia, which exacerbates his guilt and deteriorates his judgment.
