Heartbreakers (2001)
Heartbreakers (2001) is a comedy film about a mother-daughter duo, Max (Sigourney Weaver) and Page (Jennifer Love Hewitt), who con men by pretending to be romantically involved with wealthy men. Max marries rich men, only to divorce them for a large settlement. Page, a skilled seductress, follows her mother’s lead. The duo’s latest target is wealthy cigarette tycoon William B. Tensy (Gene Hackman). However, things take a turn when Page falls for her target’s son, the charming heartthrob, and their cons start to get complicated. The movie is a mix of love, deceit, and unexpected twists.
