In Ghostbusters 2 (1989), the team of paranormal investigators is called back to action when a new supernatural threat emerges in New York City. A river of pink slime is discovered beneath the city, tied to a mysterious, evil force that is causing chaos. The team, led by Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore, must confront this new menace, which is revealed to be the spirit of Vigo the Carpathian, an ancient tyrant. With the help of Dana Barrett and her infant son, the Ghostbusters battle Vigo’s ghost to save the city once again.
