Geostorm (2017)
Geostorm (2017) is a science fiction disaster film directed by Dean Devlin. The movie revolves around a network of satellites designed to control global weather and prevent climate-related disasters. However, when this system starts to malfunction, causing extreme weather events across the world, it threatens to unleash a global catastrophe. The film follows Jake Lawson, a scientist who created the satellite program, as he is called back into action to investigate and stop the malfunction. Alongside his brother, who is involved in the political side of the program, they uncover a conspiracy and race against time to avert the impending geostorm.
