Deep Blue Sea (1999)
In Deep Blue Sea (1999), a team of scientists led by Dr. Susan McAlister conducts research on genetically modified sharks to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. However, their experiments go awry when the sharks become more intelligent and aggressive, threatening the lives of everyone on the research facility. As the sharks attack, the survivors must fight for their lives, navigating the flooded laboratory and trying to escape. The film combines elements of science fiction, horror, and thriller, exploring the dangers of human interference with nature and the consequences of tampering with genetics.
