Dead Silence (2007)
In Dead Silence (2007), a young man named Jamie Ashen returns to his hometown after the mysterious death of his wife, Lisa. The only clue to her death is a ventriloquist’s dummy, Billy, which was found at the scene. Jamie investigates the eerie connection between Billy and the long-forgotten legend of Mary Shaw, a ventriloquist who was murdered years ago after her dummy was stolen. As Jamie unravels the truth, he discovers that Mary Shaw’s vengeful spirit uses the dummies to kill anyone who dares to speak her name.
