Cyborg Girl (2008)
“Cyborg Girl” (2008) is a South Korean romantic comedy sci-fi film about a man named Kyeong-chul, a lonely and disillusioned engineer, who meets Aji-3, a human-like cyborg created by a secret government project. Aji-3 is sent to Kyeong-chul’s life as his companion, designed to support him emotionally and to fulfill his desires. As they develop an unexpected bond, Kyeong-chul realizes the depth of his feelings for her, and he struggles with the question of whether their love can transcend the boundaries of artificial intelligence and human emotion.
