Cake (2005)
“Cake” (2005) is an American drama film about a woman named Michelle, played by Heather Graham, who is coping with the loss of her fiancé, who died in a tragic accident. Struggling with grief, Michelle isolates herself and withdraws from life. When she becomes friends with a member of a support group for people dealing with loss, she begins to confront her past and the pain she’s been avoiding. As Michelle opens up, she learns to heal emotionally and rebuild her life, finding hope and purpose through connection, love, and self-acceptance.
