Bunraku (2010)
Bunraku (2010) is a visually striking action film set in a dystopian world where violence and corruption reign. The story follows an unnamed drifter, played by Josh Hartnett, who teams up with a skilled samurai (Gackt) and a bartender (Kevin McKidd) to take down a ruthless crime lord, Nicola (Ron Perlman). The crime lord controls a city plagued by his enforcers and a series of corrupt officials. The three men form an alliance and engage in an epic battle of honor, revenge, and survival. Drawing inspiration from the traditional Japanese puppet theater, the film blends stylized action with a deep emotional narrative.
