Blame! (2017)
Blame! (2017) is a Japanese animated science fiction film based on Tsutomu Nihei’s manga series. The story unfolds in a dystopian future where humanity is on the brink of extinction, living within a massive, ever-expanding city controlled by machines. The protagonist, Killy, is a solitary wanderer on a quest to find a “Net Terminal Gene” that could potentially save humanity. Along the way, he encounters a group of survivors, including a girl named Zuru. Together, they face perilous threats and navigate the dangerous, high-tech labyrinth of the city, fighting for their survival in a world devoid of human civilization.
