Saint Maud (2019)
Saint Maud (2019) is a psychological horror film directed by Rose Glass. The story follows Maud, a reclusive and devout hospice nurse, who becomes obsessed with saving the soul of her terminally ill patient, Amanda, a former dancer. Maud’s fervent religious beliefs lead her to increasingly disturbing actions as she believes that she has been chosen to guide Amanda to salvation. As Maud’s mental state deteriorates, the tension between her religious zeal and her deteriorating sanity escalates, culminating in a chilling and tragic finale.
