“Sniper: Legacy” (2014) is the fifth installment in the “Sniper” film series, with Tom Berenger returning as Master Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Beckett. In this sequel, Beckett learns that his son, a fellow sniper, is on a hit list targeting military personnel. Beckett comes out of retirement to protect his son and uncover the perpetrator behind these assassinations. Alongside his son, played by Chad Michael Collins, they track down the rogue operator who turns out to be a former protégé of Beckett’s. The film dives deep into themes of family legacy and duty, combining intense sniper action with a personal narrative of reconciliation and teamwork.
