The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) follows Thomas and his friends after escaping the maze in the first film. They are brought to a facility by a group called WCKD, only to discover that it is a trap. The group escapes and must survive in a desolate, sun-scorched world filled with dangerous creatures and hostile survivors. As they journey through the treacherous landscape, they face numerous obstacles, including the deadly “Flare” virus that has ravaged humanity.
